Little’s is a B CORP!

That’s right – we’ve joined the global community of brands using business as a force for good – and I’m so freaking stoked!

I’m not gonna lie, it’s been a lot of work, but I’m so proud of the team for passing on our first submission (after just 10 months) with a score of 82.2 (you need 80 to pass, btw).

I’m always amazed of how little the general public know about B Corp, especially as I genuinely believe it provides the solution to so many of society’s most critical challenges.

So, I’m here to shout about it!

There’s a specific obligation that comes with running a second-generation family business (especially when your name’s on the pack), which is why Little’s has always been about more than just turning a profit or growing revenue.

For me it’s about doing the right thing, even when nobody’s watching – for our people, our planet, our community and our suppliers.

It’s also about taking a longer-term view on business. It’s not about “get rich quick at any cost”.

It’s about legacy. How do you want to show up, and how do you want to be remembered.

And so, when I first heard about B Corp, their values deeply resonated with me.

This statement on the B Corp website really hit home “…Short-term gains are prioritized over long-term value, profits over people and the planet, creating inequality, extraction, and degradation.

B Lab believes that a different kind of economy is not only possible, but necessary - and that business can lead the way.”

That’s EXACTLY how I feel!

Lots of businesses talk about values, but many don’t live them.

B Corp gives us a certification that proves we are doing what we’ve always said we do, and I couldn’t be more proud to join the movement.

So, next time you’re shopping, please look out for the B Corp logo. It makes more difference than you think.
