We’re super excited to announce that we’ve officially partnered with Podback – the coffee pod recycling scheme – making it easier than ever before for you to recycle your Little’s Nespresso-compatible capsules at home, for free!
At Little’s, we’re committed to putting the planet first in everything that we do. Which is why we’ve been on a mission to make our business more sustainable and reduce our carbon impact.
So, what’s the Podback Scheme all about then?
There’s always been a bit of confusion around recycling coffee pods at home. To empty the grounds, to not empty the grounds and so on. These little pods are often hard to sort and process because of their size. And that’s just not good enough for us.
The good news is that, through the Podback scheme, everyday Nespresso-compatible capsules can be recycled easily from home, ensuring nothing goes into landfill.
Want in on the Podback Scheme?
There are two ways to recycle with Podback.
Kerbside – order a recycling bag directly from our website, for free, fill it up with used pods and leave it outside with your other waste and recycling on your normal collection day. Find out if kerbside is available in your area by clicking here.
Drop Off – take your filled Podback recycling bag to your nearest Collect+ store. Collect+ partner with local stores around the UK offering a place to drop off your recycling bags. You’ll need a label to return your Podback bag. These can be printed at home or in any Collect+ store for free*.
Recycling bags for drop off are available from our website here. They’re also available at the customer service desk in Morrisons supermarkets. What’s more, Podback is also in discussions with other retailers to make bags more widely available where pods are sold. Watch this space!
*Please note that not all Collect+ stores currently have the facility to print labels in store.
