Here’s three ways to use our All Day Every Day coffee capsules to get you as close to the coffee shop at home as possible, whatever the time of day.
MORNING: FLAT WHITE RECIPE
Our morning coffee go-to – the flat white. What is a flat white? Like a lot of espresso-based drinks, a flat white is a shot of espresso with steamed milk. Why is a flat white different to a latte? A flat white traditionally has less milk than a latte, so it has a larger ratio of coffee to milk. Flat whites are usually served in 8oz cups. Dinky, but the perfect way to kick-start the day if you ask us.Our All Day Every Day coffee is smooth, balanced and, most importantly, not over roasted like a lot of the coffee capsules you’ll find on the supermarket shelves. So you’ll get a really drinkable flat white with gorgeous chocolatey notes once teamed with milk.
- Pour a shot of All Day Every coffee using your capsule machine. Make sure to run an empty shot beforehand so you’re getting clean water for your coffee.
- While that pours, heat and foam up milk of your choice using an electric milk frother or a handheld whisk (you’ll need to heat it first this way).
- Now it’s time to get creative. Once your milk is hot, give it a swirl and knock out any big bubbles before artfully pouring it over your shot of espresso. Barista who?!
AFTERNOON: EVERYDAY ICED LATTE RECIPE
Once the clock strikes 12pm, it’s iced coffee time! Don’t ask us why but afternoon coffee = iced coffee. Here’s our favourite way to whip up iced lattes in a matter of minutes. Remember… hot girls drink iced coffee.- Pour a shot of All Day Every Day coffee in your Nespresso machine
- While that’s doing its thing, prepare your glass. Load it up with a big handful of ice and pour in milk of your choice until it’s three quarters full
- Once your coffee is ready, simply pour it directly on top of your ice and milk and stir!
EVENING: THE PERFECT AMERICANO RECIPE
If you’re not scared of a bit of late-in-the-day caffeine, we like to whip up a coffee shop-style Americano at home with our All Day Every Day coffee capsules. It’s SO easy to do.
Pour a shot of coffee through your machine while you boil the kettle with fresh water. Once the coffee has poured and the kettle has boiled and been left to cool for a couple of minutes, simply top your shot of coffee with your hot water. Bam! Americanos all round. You should retain the crema from the coffee, too, which makes it feel a bit luxurious.
